The Annual Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, discipline, and vibrant energy, reflecting the true spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork. The event showcased students’ physical fitness, coordination, and commitment, creating an atmosphere of excitement and pride.
The occasion was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Director Sir, Major General Deepak Saxena, accompanied by our respected Principal, Mrs. Nisha Menon, along with distinguished guests Smt. Babita Chavan, Principal, Bai Kabibai Balvatika; Mrs. Ritu Dubey, Principal, Rajhans Vidyalaya; Shri S. Govindharajan, Principal, Hansraj Morarji Public School & Junior College; and Smt. Poonam Sharma, Co-Ordinator – Skill Development.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial arrival of the Chief Guest, followed by a band-led welcome and the National Anthem. The Sports Meet was formally declared open, setting the stage for a spectacular display of discipline and unity through the torch bearers’ run, march past, carnival walk, and oath-taking ceremony.
Students captivated the audience with a series of well-coordinated performances including band displays, group singing, stepper drills, pom-pom routines, gymnastic acts, yoga formations, pyramid displays, saree drills, and the energetic lathi dance. Each performance highlighted teamwork, precision, and the dedication of the students.
The athletic events, comprising sprint races, hurdle races, and relay races, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various age groups. The prize distribution ceremony honoured outstanding achievements at the national, state, and regional levels, inspiring young athletes to strive for excellence.
The celebration concluded with the soulful rendition of Vande Mataram, followed by the closing ceremony and vote of thanks. The Annual Sports Day stood as a memorable celebration of physical fitness, discipline, perseverance, and unity, leaving behind cherished memories for students, staff, and guests alike.
